Russell Bartels, MD, FACOG is a board-certified OB/GYN and the co-founder of VitalityMDs in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Bartels specializes in hormonal wellness wellness and sexual health for both men and women, cosmetic gynecology, surgical and non-surgical treatments for vaginal rejuvenation and leaky bladders, erectile dysfunction and therapies using the patient’s own platelets to treat a variety of issues. He also treats debilitating ailments, such as fibromyalgia, migraines, and chronic fatigue. In addition to traditional gynecologic services, Dr. Bartels offers a host of aesthetic services for men and women in accordance with his mantra, “Feel better, function better, and look better.”
After earning his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, Dr. Bartels completed his medical residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan, where he was chief resident and received several awards for his minimally invasive laparoscopic surgical skills. Recognizing a need in Arizona for an expert in cosmetic gynecology and vaginal rejuvenation, Dr. Bartels received additional training and certification to become the first in Scottsdale to provide these services to patients.
A sought-after educator and lecturer at societal and industry conferences, Dr. Bartels enjoys training other physicians in vaginal rejuvenation and hormone replacement therapy. He also serves as a key opinion leader for several medical device manufacturers.
